We are fully insured, including current public liability and WorkSafe insurance, and all our work is backed by a solid 3 year guarantee, which we believe provides peace of mind for our customers.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I didnt, it chose me. I started as a labourer for a large commercial company, worked my way up to project management over years, and then left to start my own business having gained invaluable experience and advice in all aspects of concreting and construction.

We have one client who we have known for 15 years now and have not only done 7 houses for him personally, but have completed 18 houses in one street through his Shri Lankan family and friends. I get a bottle of top shelf scotch from him every year:) The power of good referrals proven.

I enjoy meeting so many different people, developing on-going friendships with some of these clients, and the sense of accomplishment in seeing a job done well, and a happy and 100% satisfied customer. That, and we just love what we can create with concrete!!

what is your m2 rate for concrete? we dont work on a m2 rate but quote each job accordingly as every job requires more or less of something.

I treat each individual job as if it were being done for my own house or business, because we take great pride in the reputation we've built. We want to see our reputation and our business continue to flourish, and the best way of doing that is through building trust and proving our reliability with each customer we work for. We want your repeat business, and that of your family and friends, and word of mouth goes a long way!!

We believe our previous work speaks for itself, and encourage our customers to ask to see some of this work. Seeing creates believing in your tradesman, and the fact that we are willing to back our work with a 3 year warranty, I believe, speaks volumes for the integrity and pride we take in our work . We simply don't cut corners, and use only the best products and materials available, giving confidence that the right finish and result can be achieved consistently.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

The main information we need to provide you with a reasonably accurate quotation, is 1. area to be concreted in approximate square metres. 2. Is excavation required. 3. What type/style of concrete do you require. 4. Does the area require drainage installed, and if so, how many points are needed to ensure adequate shedding of water. This information is handy in providing a quotation that's near the mark, but the only way to give a set price quotation is to do a site inspection, measure up, and discuss the work required in person with the client.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1.Try to make sure your builder does a thorough job at site clean ( if a new home ), and levels ground  as much as possible, to eliminate excess soil having to be removed at excavation for concrete. 2. If there is a place where soil can be left or spread on site, this will save on tip fees and excavation time. 3. Know your budget, have a plan, and stick to it to avoid variations as the job progresses

we are not always competitive as we charge a fair price to do the works efficiently and with a high quality standard that we expect from ourselves, but you will always find cheap quotes out there. "You get what you pay for".

It varies according to job size, but agreed deposits with payment on completion of works. We do not work on a straight m2 basis as every job is different

Domestic and commercial works are our forte. we have great experience in formwork, stairs, bondek suspended slabs, and also exposed aggregate and decorative resurfacing works to existing concrete.
